Developed and researched by scientists from the Department of Nursing Science (Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya) & Behavioral Health Centre (Sunway Medical Centre), you can now try the web-based MINDFULGym Nurse program HERE:

The webpage has 5 main exercises based on mindfulness & positive psychology principles for enhancing nurses' emotional health:

1. Mindful Breathing: Calming The Mind

2. Mindful Body Stretching: Relaxing The Body

3. NOWING The Present Moment: Focusing Attention

4. Gratitude Workout: Paying Attention To The Positive

5. Loving-Kindness: Cultivating Kindness & Friendliness

The online course consists of step-by-step guidance and specific examples on how nurses can integrate mindfulness practice in their busy schedule. You'll also see how three nurses (Yap, Nicole, Mariam) cope with burnout and increase productivity by being mindful.
